Earlier the day, Australia started from a strong position. Steve Smith was on 85* and he notched up his 32nd test hundred on day 2 and became the fastest man on this planet to score 32 test hundreds. Alex Carey made 22. Smith was gone scoring 110 and Australia were bunled for 416.
