England played three One Day Internationals and two Tests against Bangladesh in their trip. The tourists went on to win the ODI series by 2-1 but the Test series was drawn 1-1. Graves thanked the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and Bangladesh government for providing high-class security to the English team.
Graves said, "The type of security we have received here is outstanding and I think Bangladesh is a safe country to host cricket matches. I would like to thank the BCB and the Bangladesh government for providing such top-class security. It was a great stay in Bangladesh."
After a 22-run heartbreak in Chittagong in the first Test, Bangladesh created a history beating powerhouse English side by 108 runs in the last Test in Dhaka. Graves admits that Bangladesh cricket has improved a lot. He says that the ECB will try to more matches against the Tigers.
"Bangladesh cricket has improved a lot and they are a tough side to beat at their own conditions. I hope this improvement will continue in the upcoming days as the love for cricket here is fantastic. Though we have a very busy FTP ahead, we will still try to play more matches against Bangladesh," said ECB chairman.
