The Bazball inspired England thumped Ireland in the only test at Lords on Saturday (3 June) by 10 wickets. They had chase only 12 in day 3 and England took only 4 balls to chase the this down with their typical Bazball approach. Crawley smacked 3 boundaries on the trot to win the game.

Earlier the day, Ireland were trailing by 255 runs and already lost 3 wickets before scoring 100. Tector scored a fine fifty, while their experienced campaigners Paul Stirling and Curtis Campher chipped in with 15 and 19 respectively. Wk batter Tucker played a beautiful knock off 44 before getting knocked over by Leach.

They both had a fantastic partnership of 160 runs. Where Mcbrine scored a magnificent 86 off only 115 balls. While the other Adair was way too faster than his partner. He raced to 88 off only 76 deliveries. He hit 2 massive sixes and 12 boundaries. Their efforts and glorious knocks helped Ireland have a lead of 10 runs.
Josh Tongue, the debutant from England side had a five wicket haul on his debut that too at the lords. He conceded 66 off his 21 over quota. Ollie Pope named as the player of the match for his majestic double hundred. England will be the happier side having a comprehensive victory just before the Ashes.
