David Warner bids goodbye to T20I Cricket as Australia knocked out of T20 WC 2024
Warner took his ODI retirement on 19th November after thrashing India to the glory of sixth title and he claimed the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 will be his last international appearance.

Australia's dynamic opener David Warner's 15 - year international career came to an end when Afghanistan beat Bangladesh in a breathtaking match in St Vincent on Tuesday.
Warner took his ODI retirement on 19th November after thrashing India to the glory of sixth title and he claimed the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 will be his last international appearance.
His final T20I match was against India and made just 6 off 6 before Arshdeep Singh force him to edge to Suryakumar Yadav. Australia's fate of qualifying for the semi-final was hung on that clash against India and Australia lost that match by 24 runs.
David Warner made his T20I back in 2009 against South Africa, where he hammered 89* off only 43 balls to embark his arrival to the international arena.
Warner played 110 T20I matches for Australia and amassed 3277 runs at an average of 33.44 and a jaw dropping strike rate of 142.48. He smashed a century and made 28 fifties to his name in the shortest version of the game. He has the most 50+ scores in this format and also the Australia's leading run-scorer in this format. He also was adjusted player of the tournament of ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021, where Australia won the title for the very first time.
