BCB Central Contract 2024: Shanto and Shoriful earn all format contracts
Among the cricketers under the 2023 contract, 4 cricketers, Tamim Iqbal, Afif Hossain, Mosaddek Hossain and Ebadot Hossain, did not have a place in the 2024 contract. Meanwhile, Tamim had earlier requested BCB to keep himself out of the contract. Besides, Ebadot is suffering from injuries.

The much-awaited BCB central contract has been announced. Like last year, 21 cricketers have been kept under contract. Several changes have been made since the last agreement.
Among the cricketers under the 2023 contract, 4 cricketers, Tamim Iqbal, Afif Hossain, Mosaddek Hossain and Ebadot Hossain, did not have a place in the 2024 contract. Meanwhile, Tamim had earlier requested BCB to keep himself out of the contract. Besides, Ebadot is suffering from injuries.
Young pacer Tanzim Hasan Sakib and opener Mahmudul Hasan Joy are in the contract. Tanzim Sakib is only on an ODI contract. On the other hand, Joy got a place in the Test contract. Apart from this, off-spinner Nayeem Hasan has returned to the contract. Despite being left out of the contract, Nayeem got a place in the Test in the central contract of 2024.
Apart from this, Najmul Hossain Shanto and Shoriful Islam got a place in three formats in the new contract, although they were in two formats in the previous contract. Hasan Mahmud, who was previously only under the T20 contract, is now under ODI and T20 contracts. On the other hand, pacer Taskin Ahmed, who was previously in a three-format contract, has now dropped out of the Test contract and has been given a place in the ODI and T20 contracts.
Wicketkeeper batter Nurul Hasan Sohan was previously under contract for Test and T20 but this time he got a place only in T20.
Central Contract:

Newly included: Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Mahmudul Hasan Joy.
Returned: Nayeem Hasan.
Earlier only T20, now T20 and ODI: Hasan Mahmud.
From two formats to three formats: Najmul Hossain Shanto, Shoriful Islam.
Test and T20 before, now only T20: Nurul Hasan Sohan.
Earlier three formats now ODI, T20: Taskin Ahmed.
