Bangladesh women’s A team delivered a stunning all-round performance in the second T20 of the series, demolishing Sri Lanka women’s A team by a massive 104-run margin at Colombo's P Sara Oval. With this victory, Bangladesh now lead the five-match series 2-0.

Batting first, Bangladesh posted an impressive total of 164 for 6 in their allotted 20 overs. Leading from the front, Shathi Rani Barman smashed a brilliant half-century, scoring 50 off 40 balls. Sobhana Mostary also played a valuable knock of 39 from 39 deliveries, while Nigar Sultana Joty added 34 runs off 24 balls to push the total to a commanding figure. Sri Lankan bowler Malki Madara took 2 wickets but could not stop Bangladesh’s aggressive batting.

In response, Sri Lanka Women’s A team struggled to chase the target of 165 runs. The openers put up 21 runs for the first wicket, but their innings quickly fell apart. Only openers- Kaushini Nuthyanga (11) and Nethmi Poorna (18) reached double digits as the Sri Lankan team was bowled out for a meager 60 runs in 16.4 overs.
