Sri Lankan franchise-based T20 tournament, Lanka Premier League (LPL), kicked off on Sunday (December 5). Dambulla Giants and Kandy Warriors faced off each other on the second day of the tournament. Where Bangladesh fast bowler Al-Amin Hossain played for Kandy.
Batting first in the match, Dambulla scored 190 runs losing 7 wickets. Despite taking two wickets for Kandy, Al-Amin conceded 36 runs in his four-over spell. Basically, his first and last over was worse.
The 31-year-old pacer came to bowl for his first over in the fifth over of the innings. He was hit for a boundary in his first ball and the last ball of his over. He conceded 14 runs totally in that over. So, then the captain didn’t give him the bowl at that time.

Going to play a big shot, Salt who made 64 runs from just 27 balls, gave a return catch Al-Amin and Al-Amin took a good catch. The pacer conceded just 2 runs in that over.
Al-Amin was later brought back in the death overs. In the 18th over of the innings, he picked up the wicket of Nuwanidu Fernando for just four runs in that over in a great variety of bowling. But the last over did not go well for the Bangladeshi fast-bowler as he conceded 16 runs in the last over without taking any wicket.
