India batter Ambati Rayudu has declared his retirement from all forms of Indian cricket within 24 hours of retiring from IPL. This middle-order batter ended his 23-year cricket career at the age of 37.
Rayudu's team Chennai Super Kings reached the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Before the final match, he confirmed that this is going to be his last match in IPL. On the appointed day, the field was flooded with rain. As a result, the match between Chennai and Gujarat Titans did not take place on the scheduled day. It went on reserve day. As a result, Rayudu's IPL career was extended by one more day.
