It's especially exciting for Finn and Michael who are set for their first ICC events, while Martin Guptill is preparing for his 7th T20 World Cup - which in itself is an incredible achievement," said head coach Gary Stead.

With this same squad, New Zealand will play the tri-series against Bangladesh and Pakistan at home starting from October 7. The Blackcaps will begin their T20 World Cup campaign with a match against Australia in Sydney on October 22.
