Abhishek Sharma has surged almost the top of the positions in the latest ICC Men's T20I rankings. While the West Indies' spinner Akil Hosein has re-claimed his top position.

It was the highest individual innings made by an Indian men's player in the shortest format of the game. The innings saw him rising to second spot in the latest T20I rankings for batters. While Australian star batter Travis Head remains the top T20I batter.

India's mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy has moved up three places to the equal second spot following his 14 wickets against England in the five-match T20I series, which saw him winning the Player of the Series as well. West Indies spinner Akeal Hosein has re-claimed his spot as the No.1 T20I bowler.

Australian Men's Test players also gained massive strides in the latest ICC Men's Test rankings, after their terrific performances in Galle, where the Aussies crushed Sri Lanka by an innings and 242 runs.

Stand-in skipper Steve Smith has moved upto three places to the fifth on updated Test batting rankings after his marvellous 141. While veteran opener Usman Khawaja has gained six places to rise to 11th position after his career-best Test innings of 232 in Galle.
