Zimbabwe have arrived in Bangladesh for a two-match Test series. This means that Test cricket is once again on the agenda between the two countries.  At about 5:30 p.m. local time on April 15, the Zimbabwean national team arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

It is planned that Craig Ervine's team will spend the night in Dhaka and then drive to Sylhet in the morning of April 16 for the first Test.

In 2020, Zimbabwe played a one-off match in Bangladesh and lost by an innings. This is their first Test game there since then.  They last played in Bangladesh in 2024 for a five-match T20I series. The planned Test series was cancelled because it was scheduled too close to the T20 World Cup.  Now is the time for that long-awaited red-ball game.

First test: April 20 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium.

Second Test: April 28 at the Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram.

Zimbabwe will be trying to make things right this time, while Bangladesh will be looking to show who is boss at home in familiar circumstances.  Since both teams are going through important stages, the game should be interesting for cricket fans who like the longer version.
