In a thrilling conclusion to the three-match ODI series, England and the West Indies will lock horns in the third and final match on Saturday at the iconic Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados.
The three-match ODI series between the West Indies and England concludes on Saturday afternoon when the teams meet at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown. So far both teams have won a game each in Antigua, with West Indies taking a 1-0 lead before England won by six wickets on Wednesday. The third ODI starts at 1:30 p.m. local time in Barbados.
Although the West Indies recovered from 23/4 to 152/4 in Antigua on Wednesday, they could never really overtake England in the second ODI. However, there is a series win up for grabs in this game. We expect Shai Hope's team to be competitive in this game too.
Wednesday's performance was much more in line with what England fans and team management have come to expect from this group, who edged out the West Indies with tight bowling early in the game. With more confidence in the group, they should be able to pick up another win on Saturday.
Match Preview
The West Indies will take on England in the 3rd ODI of England's tour of the West Indies at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on December 9. The series is evenly split between the two teams as they have each won one game so far, with the third game of the series deciding the series.
Both teams competed in the final match, the second match of the tournament, played at the Sir Vivian Richards Ground in Antigua. England had won the toss here and elected to field. West Indies didn't start the way they would have liked, losing as many as four wickets in the powerplay itself. They had a brilliant partnership for the fifth wicket of 129 runs. However, as the partnership broke down, they again continued to lose wickets and were soon bowled out for a meager total of 202 runs.
England had a comparatively small target in front of them, but the format's recent scare had loomed over them. They started very aggressively to end the chase as quickly as possible. They had a fantastic opening stand of 50 runs in just 5.5 overs. They lost four wickets in the next 70 runs but continued to score at an aggressive pace. By the fifth wicket between Harry Brook and captain Jos Buttler they had a match-winning unbeaten stand of 90 runs. They won the game easily by six wickets with more than 17 overs to spare.

West Indies Key Players
Sherfane Rutherford - the left-handed batsman only made his ODI debut in the opening game of the series but he already looks at home at this level after hitting a half-century and dismissing Will Jacks in the second game.
Yannic Cariah – the 31-year-old leg-spinner bowled some excellent shots in the second ODI and will be looking forward to receiving the ball on a spin-friendly surface in Barbados.
Gudakesh Motie - the slow left-arm orthodox bowler is the West Indies' leading wicket-taker in the series and dismissed Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett on Wednesday.
England Key Players
Jos Buttler - Wednesday's ODI was very important for the skipper, who put a very poor run of scores behind him, finishing unbeaten on 58 and hitting three sixes during the innings.
Gus Atkinson – it was an impressive series opening the bowling for the 25-year-old from Surrey. He has picked up 4 wickets from the two ODIs so far.
Rehan Ahmed – the spinner continues to perform very well regardless of the opponent. He was England's most economical bowler, dismissing Romario Shepherd and Gudakesh Motie on Wednesday.
