Bangladesh women’s team captain Nigar Sultana is expecting a little more from the Bangladesh team in the upcoming ODI World Cup because of the current form of the team.

The people of Bangladesh have high expectations about the World Cup this time. That's because of the team's current form. Cricketers like fans also believe that it is possible to do better this time. Another reason to increase the expectations is the World Cup is in the subcontinent this time.

The cricketers took pictures with that dream World Cup trophy on Tuesday. Nigar said that she had never seen the trophy so closely before.

“Never had a chance to see (World Cup trophy) face to face before. Thanks to the BCB and our women's department, for giving us this opportunity and many young players, it was a dream come true to see the World Cup trophy in front of them,” Nigar said.

Not only the general people or the cricketers of the men's team but also the cricketers of the women's team wholeheartedly believe that there are many opportunities to improve this time. That's why Nigar is expecting the best from the men’s team.

“Obviously, the expectations from Bangladesh are very high for all of us as players. In the context of Bangladesh, I think the best team is this time. The young players are in great rhythm and we play very well in this edition. So far we’re expecting the best from them,” she added.
