Yashasvi Jaiswal made cricket history by scoring 12 runs off the opening ball in an international T20I. This extraordinary feat occurred during Zimbabwe's fifth and final match against India at Harare Sports Club in Harare. The left-handed batter displayed his talent by hitting a six off a no-ball to begin the game, followed by another six on a free-hit ball out of the park. 

Jaiswal's achievement marks the first instance of a cricketer from a top ten team scoring 10 or more runs off the first ball in a T20I. Talking about the left-hander He has already included several match-winning innings in both Test cricket and T20Is. Notably, Jaiswal was named Player of the Match for his stellar knock in the fourth T20I against Zimbabwe.

The incident took place in the first over, bowled by Zimbabwe’s skipper and spinner, Sikandar Raza. Raza overstepped, delivering a full toss that resulted in a no-ball. Seizing the opportunity, Jaiswal launched the ball over a deep square leg for a six. Taking full advantage of the free hit, he repeated the feat, sending the ball over the boundary once again. This extraordinary sequence yielded 12 runs from the first legal delivery, setting a new record in men's T20I cricket.
