Starc Strikes Back After an Expensive Start

Mitchell Starc had a rough time in his first few overs, conceding runs at a high rate. In the second over Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram smashed him for 21 runs shifting the momentum in LSG’s favor. But Starc wasn’t done yet.

In the 15th over the big Australian fast bowler Starc returned to the attack. Pooran who had already hammered 75 off just 30 balls looked unstoppable. But Starc had other plans. He bowled a full-length delivery at 140 kmph, aimed straight at the stumps. The ball seamed in slightly after pitching making it tough to hit.

Pooran cleared his front leg and swung across the line but he missed it completely. The ball crashed into the stumps sending them cartwheeling.The crowd erupted in celebration as Starc roared in delight having finally dismissed the dangerous Pooran.

Despite an expensive start, Starc finished with 3/42 in his four overs, proving why he’s one of the most lethal pacers in the world. His wicket of Pooran was a game-changing moment, bringing DC back into the contest.
