The 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to begin on March 22 and all teams are ramping up their preparations. However an unusual scene from the Rajasthan Royals (RR) camp on Wednesday (March 12) has caught the attention of fans and media alike.

Rajasthan Royals’ head coach and former indian national cricket team coach Rahul Dravid displayed an incredible level of dedication towards the game arriving at the camp despite being injured.

Dravid who recently suffered a left leg injury made his way to the RR training camp in Jaipur on a golf cart. A week ago Dravid sustained the injury during the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) Group III league semifinal while playing for Vijaya Cricket Club alongside his 16-year-old son, Anvay. The incident occurred after he pulled a calf muscle while attempting a run collapsing in pain and needing assistance to leave the field as India today reported.

Despite his injury, the 52-year-old cricketing legend was seen engaging with key RR players such as Riyan Parag and Yashasvi Jaiswal. He offered guidance and support as the team gears up for the upcoming IPL 2025 season. The Rajasthan Royals shared an image and video of Dravid on social media with a cast on his leg, arriving at the camp on a golf cart, which left fans in awe of his unwavering commitment.

Rajasthan Royals, champions of the inaugural IPL in 2008 and runners-up in 2022, finished third in the 2024 edition but fell short in Qualifier 2 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Under the leadership of Sanju Samson, the team is aiming for another strong title run this year.
