Australian all-rounder Cameron Green made the headlines after he joined Royal Challengers from Mumbai Indians as a part of all-cash deal for INR 17.5 crore. Cameron Green announced his arrival in the IPL in the last season, wherein he represented Mumbai Indians throughout the entire campaign. 

Cameron GreenThe all-rounder scored 452 runs in 16 games and maintained a pretty good batting average of 50. He ensured to play pivotal and impactful knocks for the team and led the batting attack by example. Overall, he scored 2 fifties and a century in the last season whereas he has taken six wickets to his credit. 

Cameron Green justified his price tag well and was expected to continue with Mumbai Indians. However, that wasn't meant to be as he joined RCB and will be looking forward to delivering the goods in the IPL 2024 season. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old shared a special message to RCB fans on social media. 

RCB posted a video clip that on their official Instagram handle on November 27, Monday, in which Cameron Green can be heard expressing his delight upon joining the RCB family. "Hey RCB fans, Cameron Green here. I just want to say how excited I am to be joining Andy Flower in the team. I can’t wait to see you guys soon at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Cheers!"

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians also released a statement after Cameron Green shifted his base to RCB. "Goodbyes are never easy. But with a heavy heart, we, the MI Paltan, thank Cameron Green for all the wonderful memories he gave us in the Blue and Gold through the 2023 IPL. He has been traded from Mumbai Indians to Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of the 2024 Auction," MI added in a statement.
