India have crashed Bangladesh by 7 wickets on Sunday (October 6) in Gwalior. Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakravarthy's three wickets each helped India fold Bangladesh up for a measly 127 runs. In reply, Sanju Samson, Suryakumar Yadav and Hardik Pandya's quick-fire cameos handed India a very comfortable victory to go 1-0 ahead in the series.

India have flexed their T20 muscle in the first T20I against a wobbling Bangladesh side.
Being inserted to bat first, Bangladesh were in disarray at the start of the innings as Arshdeep Singh ran riot through the Bangladesh top order with the new ball as he rattled through the stumps of Parvez Hossain Emon for 8 off 9 balls, and then he had Litton Das and Bangladesh were in trouble.

Skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto scored a gutsy 27 off 25 balls before falling to Washington Sundar. Vraun Chakravarthy then rattled through the middle order of Bangladesh and left them stutter for 93-7.

However, Mehidy Hasan Miraz played a vital knock of 35* off 32 deliveries amid the tumbling of wickets and Bangladesh managed to get only 127 on the board.

Arshdeep Singh and Varun Chakravarthy shared three wickets each and were the stars behind Bangladesh's collapse.

In reply, India started off to a flier. Sanju Samson and Abishek Sharma had a whirlwind start before the latter one fell to a run-out after 16 off 7 balls. Wicketkeeper batter Samson made a fluent 29 off 19 deliveries before departing to Mehidy Hasan Miraz.

Captain Suryakumar Yadav bludgeoned three sixes in his short stay and made a fantastic 29 off 14 deliveries to uplift India. After the departure of the captain it brought India's all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who pummelled Bangladeshi bowlers ins and outs and remained unbeaten on 39* off only 16 deliveries to take India home with more than 8 overs to spare and 7 wickets in hands.
