The BPL 2024 has had it's curtain off as Fortune Barishal crashed defending champs Comilla Victorians in the final to clinch their maiden BPL title. It has been a great tournament for some of the cricketers and our this episode is for the best performers of this BPL 2024. BDCricTime has made the best xi of this BPL and here's a look of this.
1. Tamim Iqbal (Fortune Barishal): The skipper of the winning team, Fortune Barishal. He has played 15 innings in the tournament and scored 492 runs, which is highest in the tournament. Even in the night of the final he blazed 39 off just 26 deliveries and took his side to the safe shore.
2. Litton Das (Comilla Victorians): The runners-up team skipper Litton Das gets nod here. Litton has played 14 innings and made 391 runs. Even in the qualifer he played a match winning 83 runs, for the knock Comilla reached to the final of BPL 2024.
3. Towhid Hridoy (Comilla Victorians): The best youngster of the BPL. He was in absolutely beast mood in this tournament. Scored overall 462 runs at a staggering strike rate of 149. He also smacked a century in this edition of BPL.
4. Kyle Mayers (Fortune Barishal): The talisman of Barishal franchise. His inclusion to the team came as blessing for them. He played only 6 innings for Fortune Barishal but put huge impact on the game. He made 243 runs at a jaw dropping strike rate of 158 and also has taken 9 wickets that too below economy rate of 6.
5. Shakib Al Hasan (Rangpur Riders): The helmsman of Bangladesh team, Shakib Al Hasan gets chance in the xi. He got 17 wickets in this edition of BPL and has been miser in leaking runs, 2nd highest in the tournament. With the bat, he scored 255 runs at a strike rate of 159.
6. James Neesham (Rangpur Riders): The kiwi all rounder has been a force to be reckoned with for Rangpur franchise. Smacked a swashbuckling 97* in the qualifer and played some delightful innings as well.
7. Jaker Ali Anik (Comilla Victorians) : This BPL's best find is Jaker Ali. His runs weren’t much but was impactful for Comilla at the backend of the tournament as he played some catching cameos.
8. Sheikh Mahadi Hasan (Rangpur Riders): Sheikh Mahadi got chance at number 8. He picked up 16 wickets with the ball and was blazing with the bat as well.
9. Mohammad Saifuddin (Fortune Barishal): Just like Kyle Mayers, Saifuddin's inclusion also gave Barishal a massive boost up. He picked up 15 wickets playing just 9 matches in the tournament and the economy rate is less than 7.
10. Bilal Khan (Chattogram Challengers): The pacer from Pakistan was one of the best performers of this BPL. He played 13 matches for Chattogram Challengers and picked up 15 wickets in this tournament.
11. Shoriful Islam (Durdanto Dhaka): Despite the slump of Dhaka in this tournament, Shoriful ignited the fire with the balla and picked up 22 wickets, highest of this edition of BPL. Surely the best pacer of the tournament.
