Shreyas Iyer Crowned ICC Men’s Player of the Month for March 2025
Indian batsman Shreyas Iyer has won the ICC Players' Player of the Month award for March 2025.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) today revealed the ICC Players of the Month for March 2025: India's Shreyas Iyer and Australia's Georgia Voll.
Shreyas Iyer won the ICC Player of the Month award for March 2025, edging out New Zealand's Jacob Duffy and Rachin Ravindra. Iyer scored 243 runs and was instrumental in India's Champions Trophy win.
Iyer was instrumental in India's run to the 2025 Champions Trophy, contributing to the middle order with a vital role. His brilliant strokeplay ensured India controlled the middle overs, and his capacity to stabilize the innings while forming crucial partnerships was instrumental in his team's success.
Iyer was thanked and honored by receiving the ICC Player of the Month award for March. He highlighted the importance of the award, particularly during a month that India had triumphed in the ICC Champions Trophy. He was thankful to his teammates, coaches, and support staff for the role they had played in achieving his success.
"I am really humbled to be declared the ICC Player of the Month for March. It is a special honor, particularly in a month when we defeated the ICC Champions Trophy – a moment I will always remember. To be able to play a part in helping India win on such a big stage is the dream of every cricketer. I am thankful to my staff, coaches, and teammates for their continued support and trust," stated Shreyas Iyer, as per the ICC.
The 30-year-old made 172 runs in three games in March, with an average of 57.33 and a moderate strike rate of 77.47. Iyer played some great innings and was the second-highest run-scorer in the 2025 Champions Trophy, only 20 runs behind Rachin Ravindra.
