ever hand, he is undoubtedly one of the most successful wicket keepers in the history of cricket – but nothing could adrift Mahendra Singh Dhoni from the dedication to his team.
In the just concluded series against Ireland, instead of any young recruits, Dhoni was seen carrying water bottles, towels and necessary accessories for his team mates taking into the field.
The 36 year old wicket keeper batsman was rested by the management in the second and last T20I match of the series against Ireland. He was seen entering into the field with several bags and water bottles to his junior team mates Lokesh Rahul and Manish Pandey who were at the crease.
On that day, India registered the second highest marginal win in the history of T20I cricket defeating Ireland by 143 runs.
Ireland won the toss and sent India to bat first. The strong Indian batting line up stored 213 runs in their innings losing just 4 wickets.
Lokesh Rahul scored highest 70 runs while Suresh Raina made 69 runs.
In reply, all Ireland could do was to survive up to 15th over of the innings, scored 70 runs in total losing all the wickets.
