Pakistan have made a comeback in the backend of the day after triggering a collapse. England started hastily at the start but Sajid Khan came as the deity for Pakistan, scalping some wickets at the middle he made the day balanced for both the teams.
At one point, England were cruising to Pakistan's total but Sajid Khan turned the game around after triggering a middle order collapse.
Pakistan started the day with Mohammad Rizwan and Agha Salman. But the former one was removed earlier, but Agha stitched a vital partnership with lower order batter Aamer Jamal. The duo added 38 runs under Pakistan's belt, which helped the hosts get to 366 on the board.
In reply, England started with a rapid fire pace as they normally do. Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett made merry and strung together for 73 runs before Aamer Jamal removed the former one. Duckett then struck with Ollie Pope for another fifty run stand and Pakistan were going berserk with Duckett smashing ins and outs of Pakistani bowlers.
England were going at 5 RPO but then Sajid Khan turned the game around to its head with his venomous spin, removing Ollie Pope, Joe Root, Harry Brook and the centurion Ben Duckett to leave England crumble at 239-6.
Before the departure, Duckett notched up a tremendous hundred and fell after a swashbuckling 114 off 129 balls.
England are on 239-6 and are trailing Pakistan by 127 runs. They've Jamie Smith on the crease as the recognised batter and they'll be hoping for a masterclass innings from him to take them to a safe shore.
