The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suffered a massive financial loss in media rights' on Bangladesh's tour to the country. The loss estimated as $2.25 million.  Sanath Jayasuriya welcomes Shoaib Malik in elite list       Pakistan media reported the loss is incurred over a dispute with a media rights firm on Bangladesh’s tour to Pakistan which arose when the firm claimed that Sri Lanka's tour to Pakistan in December 2019 was the last to cover by them. But PCB pretensed that the the agreement is to expire on June 2020. The Pakistan Cricket authorities made a media rights demand of $6 million from the said firm for the Bangladesh series comprised of three T20Is, two Tests and the one-off ODI, which are being staged in three phases. According to the firm's statement, they did not receive sufficient time to cover the series thus fall into significant losses. Upon the ground, the aggrieved parties set with an arrangement of reducing the amount to $3.75 million. In another development, PCB has set a budget of Rs14.50 million to host the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC)'s match against Pakistan. The four matches are scheduled to occur in between February 13 to 19. It has been forty-eight years since a MCC team visited Pakistan. In this occasion, MCC president and former Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara will be leading the team.
