Pakistan Cricket Board is pleased to announce that for the first time in HBL Pakistan Super League's history, Urdu commentary of entire matches will be available for fans to experience throughout the tournament.

The Pakistan Super League has awed cricket aficionados for decades with explosive gameplay and stellar play. As it looks ahead to PSL X, the Pakistan Cricket Board is upping the experience with a first that strikes directly at the nation: Urdu commentary during transmission.

In a media release, the PCB said how much it looked forward to this momentous step: "The Pakistan Cricket Board is pleased to announce that for the first time in the history of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL), the fans will have the opportunity to experience full match commentary in Urdu throughout the event."

The board highlighted that this project will allow fans to view live streams in Urdu, thereby improving their experience by streaming the league's games in the national language of Pakistan.

Whereas commentary in Urdu used to be presented in highlights or snippets during previous seasons, PSL X's exclusive Urdu stream enables supporters from all over the country to become fully engaged with the PSL action in their own language right from the very first ball through to the last.

PSL Chief Executive Salman Naseer called the step a "milestone" for the league and its supporters.

It's not just about language—it's about providing a richer and more immersive viewing experience for Pakistan's cricket viewers. Whether it's breaking down an exciting run chase, explaining a difficult LBW call, or capturing the drama of a final-over thriller, all of this will now be described in words and phrases that are grounded in local culture and passion.

"This is not only a boost to our relationship with the community but it also means a more popular presentation of the thrill of the HBL PSL," he added

PSL 10 is scheduled to kick off on April 11. The first match at the Rawalpindi Stadium will be between the defending champions Islamabad United and two-time champions Lahore Qalandars.

The 34-match, six-team tournament is played between April 11 and May 18. Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will be the venue for 13 matches, two of which are playoffs and a grand final.
