The Pakistan Cricket Board has asked Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf to return from the BBL to prepare for the PSL which begins on January 27.
LAHORE: Pakistan stars Haris Rauf, Fakhar Zaman and Shadab Khan have been recalled from the Big Bash League (BBL) by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to be ready for the start of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which begins on April 27. January begins.

“Unfortunately, the Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed that it had revoked Fakhar's permission to play our remaining games, along with all Pakistani players currently involved in the BBL, and requested that he return immediately to focus on the Pakistan Super League,” Heat said in a statement Sunday (January 16).
"We're disappointed that he can't play for us and he's disappointed that he won't have the opportunity to play a few more games for us. He asked us to thank the fans for their support and to wish the team all the best for the remaining three games."
Rauf announced on social media yesterday that he can no longer compete in the league and represent the Melbourne Stars, while Shadab did not attend the encounter where the Sydney Sixers triumphed over the Sydney Thunder.
On the other hand, the Adelaide Strikers are unavailable for the services of Rashid Khan for the remaining games due to national duties as Afghanistan are set to face the Netherlands in a three-game ODI due to start on January 21.
However, Michael Neser and Mitchell Swepson will return for Heat before the marquee game against Stars. Meanwhile, Mitchell Marsh and Josh Inglis will leave the Australia Test squad to join Ashe's Perth Scorchers camp.
