Mustafizur Rahman set for DPL comeback in Super League phase with Mohammedan
Last Sunday was the end of the DPL group stage. Tomorrow is the start of the Super League games. Due to a break in the international schedule, most of the main players on the national team played in the earlier stages. But Mustafizur wasn't there, which at first led to rumours that contract talks with clubs had broken down.

Bangladesh star pacer Mustafizur Rahman is ready to play again in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL), which is still going on. The left-arm seamer missed the group stage because of a shoulder issue, but he is now fully fit and will play for Mohammedan Sporting Club in the Super League phase.
Last Sunday was the end of the DPL group stage. Tomorrow is the start of the Super League games. Due to a break in the international schedule, most of the main players on the national team played in the earlier stages. But Mustafizur wasn't there, which at first led to rumours that contract talks with clubs had broken down.
It was later revealed that the "Cutter Master" had hurt his shoulder during the recent Champions Trophy competition. Mustafizur has been through rehabilitation and is now back working at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, slowly getting back to full fitness.
Speaking to Ajker Patrika, Mohammedan team manager Sazzad Ahmed Shipon confirmed that Mustafizur will officially sign with the club tomorrow. “Yes, Mustafizur will join us for the Super League stage. The agreement will be finalized soon,” he said.
Sources close to the team also noted that Mustafizur has been actively practicing in recent days, looking in good rhythm and ready to compete. With the injury behind him, the experienced pacer’s addition will provide a massive boost to Mohammedan’s bowling unit in the title-deciding phase of the tournament.
