Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Tanzid Hasan Tamim join global stars for Canada Super 60 T10 League
All-rounder Mehidy Hasan Miraz and top-order batter Tanzid Hasan Tamim, both from Bangladesh, are said to have signed up for the draft. Even though the official team list hasn't been made public yet, the player entry already has some of cricket's most popular names on it.

As the number of people who play short-form cricket continues to grow, Canada will get a new T10 franchise league game in July. It will be called "Canada Super 60." The style offers fast-paced, high-octane cricket that fans all over the world love. Each team has 10 overs and only 60 legal deliveries.
According to cricket portal Cricbuzz, the league has been officially approved and will begin with eight teams. Yuvraj Singh, a former Indian star, is in charge of this huge project and has been very important in making this idea come to life. Now, all of his hard work is paying off as Canada gets ready to host some of the biggest names in world cricket.

Naseem Shah, Finn Allen, Alex Hales, Shamar Joseph, Jason Roy, Keshav Maharaj, Tim Southee, Azam Khan, Rilee Rossouw, Jimmy Neesham, Chris Lynn, Andre Fletcher, Jason Holder, and Kyle Mayers are just a few of the popular cricketers who have signed up to take part.
Former Scotland captain and Canada Super 60 assistant tournament director, Kyle Coetzer, expressed his excitement about the player pool, “I'm absolutely thrilled to see some of the biggest names in world cricket signing up for the Canada Super 60! Their involvement will elevate the competition and provide invaluable exposure to Canadian players, fostering a sense of community and excitement among fans locally and globally.”
The upcoming draft for the inaugural season is shaping up to be massive. Over 1,300 cricketers from around the globe have registered, including 1,135 male players and 235 female players from 34 countries. The official draft will be released soon, and the tournament is scheduled to kick off in July 2025.
