Lucknow Super Giants thrashed Gujrat Titans by 6 wickets on Saturday (April 12).
Sai Sudharsan [56 off 37] and Shubman Gill [60 off 38] steered GT to 180 runs. But In reply, Nicholas Pooran and Aiden Markram hit blistering fifties as LSG comfortably crushed GT.
Nicholas Pooran and Aiden Markram made things easier for the LSG. Being inserted to bat first, Gujrat Titans had a tremendous start, adding a huge 120 runs on the opening stand with both of the openers notching up their fifties as well. But after the departure of both of them, GT had a massive collapse as they managed to get only 180 runs further on.

Sherfane Rutherford scored 22 off 19 balls at the backend of the innings helped Gujrat Titans get this total.

LSG were superb after that tenacious opening stand as they bounced back incredibly after that 120-run stand. 

In response, Aiden Markram and Rishabh Pant had a superb opening stand, adding 60 runs inside the powerplay. But Prasidh Krishna removed the skipper after his 21. However, Nicholas Pooran came in and joined Aiden Markram as the duo further 58 runs before the fall of Markram. At the backend of the innings, Ayush Badoni's 28* off 20 balls helped the LSG get to this massive victory.
