At the end of the Sri Lanka series, Bangladesh star cricketer Litton Das took a break. After that break, he finally joined his team Abahani in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL).
10 rounds have been played in DPL so far. Abahani won each of the 10 matches. In the star-studded team of the national team, there is fierce competition to get a place in the main XI. Litton's inclusion in this will further strengthen the team.
As Litton was out of form in the Sri Lanka series, Abahani gave him leave from the DPL as he wanted some rest. Team coach Khaled Mahmud Sujon said, “Litton asked for a break. Litton was one of the best players on his day. I always like Litton's batting a lot. Seeing his batting is another level of satisfaction. Maybe there is a mental block. If I didn't have that flexibility, I probably wouldn't have given Litton this break. There is flexibility.”
Even though Litton was supposed to return from the Super League, this star joined the team before that. Litton played one match in the DPL after being left out of the squad for the final ODI against Sri Lanka. 5 runs came from his bat in that match against Shinepukur Cricket Club.
