Kalam, Debashis shine as young Tigers dominate Sri Lanka in warm-up clash

The Bangladesh Under-19 team got off to a great start on their trip to Sri Lanka, easily winning the only warm-up game by 103 runs before the official youth ODI series starts. The young Tigers were brilliant in every way. They set a good score of 289 before putting the hosts out for just 186.
Sri Lanka asked Bangladesh to bat first after they won the toss. The hosts took advantage of the chance and scored a huge score thanks to careful batting in the middle order. Debashis Sarker Deba added 55 runs, and Kalam Siddiki Aleen played a calm 58-run innings. This gave Bangladesh a strong base. That brought the score to 289 and put pressure on Sri Lanka's bowling attack. Rizan Hossan got 45 runs to help out, and Zawad Abrar scored 42 runs.
In response, Sri Lanka's opening order never looked like it was set. The young bowlers from Bangladesh kept their lines tight and kept getting wickets at important times. As a bowler, Samiun Basir Ratul did an amazing job, getting four wickets for 46 runs. Rafi Uzzaman Rafi helped him a lot by getting three wickets, and Iqbal Hasan Emon also made a difference by getting two wickets. Sri Lanka U19 had a tough time with their performance and were bowled out for 186 in 41.2 overs, giving the visitors a comfortable win.
On April 26, the first official ODI will take place. The last game of the series is set for May 8.
