The much-anticipated ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is scheduled to take place in Pakistan from February 19 to March 9, 2025. The tournament will see eight top teams, including India and Pakistan, competing for the prestigious title. While India has yet to confirm their participation in Pakistan, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Mohsin Naqvi remains confident that the Indian team will make the trip across the border for the high-profile event.

The Men in Blue last played in Pakistan during the 2008 Asia Cup, with their most recent full tour dating back to 2006. While speculation has swirled about a potential hybrid model—where India’s matches would be played outside Pakistan—Naqvi dismissed such concerns during a recent media interaction in Lahore.

Addressing reporters, Naqvi expressed optimism about India’s participation, saying, "The Indian team should come. I don’t see them cancel or postpone coming here, and we are confident we will host all the teams in the Champions Trophy in Pakistan. The stadiums will also be ready to host the matches on schedule, and any remaining work would be completed after the tournament."
