Shadman Islam added an important fifty, and Kayes's great 86-run innings helped Agrani Bank score 294/7 in 50 overs. Even though Shinepukur captain Rayan Rahman made a brave hundred (105 off 127 balls), his team still lost and ended up with 248/5 in the 50 overs they were given.
As the first team to bat at BKSP Ground No. 4, Agrani Bank got off to a good start with Imran Uzzaman and Shadman Islam scoring 60 runs together. Before being bowled out by Rahim Ahmed, Imran Uzzaman got 32 runs. After being out, Shadman played more carefully and put together a 58-run partnership with captain Imrul Kayes. Shadman got to fifty, but he couldn't keep going for long. He was out after 53 runs off 66 balls.
Imrul Kayes took charge of the game and held the middle overs together with Amite Hasan, who scored 41 runs off 54 balls. Kayes reached fifty and looked like he would make a hundred, but his innings finished with 86 runs off of 85 balls, including four fours and a six. Taibur Rahman and Marshall Ayub made important late runs that helped Agrani Bank reach 294/7 in 50 overs.
Shinepukur's reply was a steady chase, with Neon Zaman and Moinul Islam scoring 34 runs together for the first wicket. Neon got 20 runs, and Moinul added 34 more before he was out. Shinepukur kept losing wickets at regular intervals, which made it hard for the middle-order. Even though the team was falling apart, leader Rayan Rahman stood strong and scored 105 runs off of 127 balls, with seven fours and two sixes. Minhajul Abedin tried to help by getting 51 runs off of 61 balls, but the needed run rate kept going up, giving Shinepukur too much to do in the last few overs.
Shinepukur finished their innings with 248/5, 46 runs short of the target, despite Rayan's heroics. Agrani Bank won an important DPL game thanks to their controlled bowling and steady batting.
