I am really happy about this wicket: Taskin on Shafique's wicket
After rain washed out the first day, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bowl. Taskin Ahmed, making his return to Test cricket, struck early in the first over by dismissing Pakistan’s opener Abdullah Shafique. Taskin's strategy was precise; after five deliveries that moved away from Shafique, he bowled the sixth delivery back in, deceiving the batter and securing the wicket.

Speaking at the post-day press conference, Taskin Ahmed shared his thoughts on the dismissal: “That wicket( Abdullah Shafique) wicket was really enjoyable for me that wicket first I set him with away ones while the last one I bring one in and that happened and that was intentional and that's why I am really happy about this wicket. You know sometimes I won't get wickets but the process has to be same. Still I am learning and played almost ten years so that's how I learned .”
At the end of Day 2, Pakistan hold a 264-run lead. Bangladesh still have all 10 wickets in hand as they look to build on their position in this second match of the two-Test series, where they currently lead 1-0.
