Bennett thinks batting failure in powerplay is the reason behind 4-1 series defeat
Zimbabwe lost the first two matches of the series very easily. They fought in the third and fourth T20I but were short in the end. At last they won the last match today in Mirpur by a big margin of 8 wickets. Overall, Zimbabwe lost the series by 4-0.

Zimbabwe young all-rounder Brian Bennett expresses dissatisfaction over the team’s four losses in the recently-concluded five-match T20I series against Bangladesh. He thinks batting caused the defeats in those matches.
Zimbabwe lost the first two matches of the series very easily. They fought in the third and fourth T20I but were short in the end. At last they won the last match today in Mirpur by a big margin of 8 wickets. Overall, Zimbabwe lost the series by 4-0.
However, throughout the whole series, batting let Zimbabwe down especially in the powerplay. The top-order batters failed massively for the team. They have no 50+ partnership in the opening in the whole series. But the bowlers did well to restrict Bangladesh batter within a decent total. Bennett also talks about this fact.
He said, “It is very disappointing to have lost all four matches. We tried our best. The bowlers have done well throughout the series. The batting has not been good, especially in the powerplay. It's great that we turned around in the last match. We know we can do. Hopefully we can take the momentum forward.”
Bennett sees the failure of the batting unit behind this failure of the team, “We have lost too many wickets in the first 3 games in the powerplay. I think it’s two or three on average. Today we played freely, this is how we should play going forward. “
