Bangladesh women’s team cricketer Marufa Akter is successful on the field as well as off the field. Marufa got GPA-4.06 in SSC and equivalent exam which was announced on Friday.

Very few cricketers have continued their education at the top level. However, Mushfiqur Rahim has set a unique example among the men's team of Bangladesh. As successful as he is on the field, this experienced cricketer is also successful in studies.

This time the pacer of the women's team, Marufa Akter, also showed a good example. Marufa, who has had a great time with the ball in the past, has also passed SSC with good result. The results of the SSC and equivalent exams were declared on Friday morning.

Pacer Marufa got GPA-4.06 in that result. However, Marufa is happy with her result. Also, her father and mother are happy. The reason is that she passed despite spending a busy time in cricket.

She is currently leading the pace attack of the national team. She took 7 wickets in the recently concluded home ODI series against India. In the last ODI, Marufa tied the game with great bowling.

However, it was not easy for Marufa to come this far. Her village home is in Kazikhol area of Sonarai union in Nilphamari Sadar. Her father is a farmer. As a child, Marufa farmed the land with her father.

Along with that, Marufa's family had to listen to various things from the neighbors due to his inclination towards cricket. That's why her mother and father didn't want to send her daughter to cricket. But now her parents can be proud of Marufa after overcoming all obstacles.
