She hit 5 fours and 1 six in her 29-ball innings. Besides, Kanika Ahuja remained unbeaten on 30 runs off 23 balls with the help of 4 fours. Among others, Uma Chetry scored 22 runs and skipper Shweta Sehrawat scored 13 runs. For Bangladesh, Nahida Akter and Sultana Khatun took two wickets each and Sanjida Akhter Meghla and Rabeya Khan took one wicket each.
Bangladesh fell into a batting disaster in chasing the target. Losing the 1st wicket at 12 runs, Bangladesh lost 5 wickets after crossing team’s 50 runs. In the end, the Tigresses collected 96 runs before being all out in 19.2 overs. Nahida remained unbeaten with the maximum 17 runs for the team.
