New Zealand were well ahead as per the DLS score in reply to India’s 219 runs. When the rain came, New Zealand were at 104/1 in 20 overs, thanks to Finn Allen’s 57 runs from 54 balls and Devon Conway’s unbeaten 38 runs from 51 balls. The rain didn’t stop and the umpires had to finish off the match without any result.

Match abandoned due to rain
Another match in the New Zealand-India series ended in a no result due to rain on Wednesday (November 30) in Christchurch as New Zealand took the three-match ODI series by 1-0. It was the fourth match in six matches combining T20Is and ODIs which faced the same fate.
New Zealand were well ahead as per the DLS score in reply to India’s 219 runs. When the rain came, New Zealand were at 104/1 in 20 overs, thanks to Finn Allen’s 57 runs from 54 balls and Devon Conway’s unbeaten 38 runs from 51 balls. The rain didn’t stop and the umpires had to finish off the match without any result.
New Zealand won the toss and decided to field. Adam Milne broke India's opening partnership of 39 runs. Both the openers, Shubman Gill and Shikhar Dhawan, were dismissed by the Kiwi pacer. Two Indian openers returned to the dressing room within 55 runs. Rishabh Pant was dismissed by Daryl Mitchell then. Pant has been heavily criticized for a few days. Even today he got out for 10 runs off 16 balls.
Suryakumar Yadav also failed and scored 6 runs off 10 balls. Milne dismissed him too. But Shreyas Iyer kept India's innings moving. He also departed after scoring 49 runs off 59 balls. He was dismissed by Lockie Ferguson. India were in danger after losing seven wickets for 170 runs when Deepak Hooda was dismissed by Tim Southee and Deepak Chahar was dismissed by Mitchell.
Washington Sundar tried his best to make a competitive total. He scored 51 runs from 64 balls. India stopped at 219 runs in 47.3 overs. Milne and Mitchell took three wickets each for New Zealand, while Southee got two wickets and Ferguson had one.
The second match was also abandoned due to rain. The third match also had the same outcome. As a result, New Zealand won the series by 1-0.
