Abdul Mazid’s century seals thrilling victory for Rupganj Tigers in DPL
Partex chose to bat first at BKSP Ground No. 3, and their openers, Joyraz Sheik and Rubel Mia, put together a strong 98-run stand. Both batters hit fifty, but the middle order fell apart when it got tough. Moinul Islam bowled out Joyraz after he had made 54 runs off 71 balls. Not long after, Rubel was dismissed for 52 runs, which started Partex's slump.

The other batters didn't turn their starts into a big innings, with Mohammad Rakib (26 off 24) and Jawad Rowen (23 off 21) being the only ones who really made a difference. Partex were bowled out for 223 runs in 49.5 overs as wickets kept falling.
Mahmudul Hasan and Al-Amin Jr were in charge of bowling for Rupganj Tigers. They each took three wickets to stop the other team from scoring.
In their quest for 224, Rupganj took a big blow when opener Amit Majumdar was out for 10 runs. But Abdul Mazid and Asadulla Galib kept the innings steady with a key 107-run combination. Neither batter made it past fifty, but Galib was out after hitting 50 off 80 balls, which included four fours and a six.
The chase became tight when Rupganj lost wickets quickly. Ahrar Amin's great spell claimed the wickets of captain Al-Amin and Mahmudul Hasan. But Mazid didn't give up. He led the team to the target.
With 33 runs needed in the last three overs, Ariful Haque hit 18 runs in the 48th over to give the team a late boost. Even though he was out in the next-to-last over, Mazid did the job in style by hitting a four off the last ball to reach 100 and give Rupganj Tigers an exciting win.
